Backy V0.2.4 released plus Docs

Backy v0.2.4 has been released and now has documentation.

Backy v0.2.4 has been fun to code.

If you don't know, Backy is a tool for automating data backup and remote command execution. It can work over SSH, and provides completion and failure notifications, error reporting, and more.

Backy's features are as follows:

  • Execute groups of commands called lists
  • Execute commands over SSH
  • Execute in cron mode (see more below)
  • Execute individual commands
  • Config-file driven
